What Is Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery?Otorhinolaryngology , Head and Neck Surgery is a surgical specialty, also known as Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery (ENT).This specialty deals with conditions of the ear (hearing loss, infections, etc.), nose (injuries, deformities, nasal allergies, etc.), throat (inflammations, tonsillitis, snoring, tumours of the throat and larynx, etc) and head and neck (swellings in the neck, thyroid or salivary gland disorders, etc.). The NZ Society of ORLHNS aims to cultivate and promote all clinical, academic and scientific aspects of ORLHNS and related sciences.Its Members are Doctors who are working in the specialty as Consultants, other Hospital Doctors, Trainees in the Specialty, or Experts in a related science.
