The Otolaryngology Department at Starship Children’s Health provides a national service, covering New Zealand and the South Pacific. It is the only paediatric ORL service in NZ offering comprehensive tertiary medical and surgical management of the paediatric airway and head and neck disorders. There is also a large workload of chronic ear disease with children receiving specialist treatment for ear and hearing disorders.

We have an outstanding opportunity for either an experienced Paediatric ORL Surgeon or a Paediatric ORL Surgeon who has completed their post-fellowship training and is looking to take the next step in their career.

Proven experience in paediatric airway management is essential for this role. The management of paediatric head and neck pathologies will be useful.

The department is actively involved in clinical research and audit including national and international collaborative projects and there are exciting opportunities in this area.

We welcome enquiries from clinicians who have the skills and expertise to work in this position.

We will be providing support to the successful candidate with relocation and immigration, during these uncertain times.
