Hands-On Stroboscopy Workshop, San Antonio, Texas, October 20-21, 2018

Course Description:

This course is hands-on with a limit of 25 participants.  The course will include both lecture and hands-on exposure to videostroboscopy. There will be six hours of hands-on practice time in a small group setting, with direct instruction from experts in the field of laryngology. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and refine endoscopy technique, as well as heighten their interpretation skills of videostroboscopy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Course participants will demonstrate basic endoscopic techniques for the use of rigid and flexible laryngeal endoscopy
  • Participants will develop an introduction- intermediate level of skill in interpreting laryngeal stroboscopy.
  • Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the role of laryngeal function studies in the evaluation of patients with voice disorders.
