International Indigenous Ear and Hearing Health symposium

The International Indigenous Ear and Hearing Health symposium (29-30 July) is hosted by the Eisdell Moore Centre (Aotearoa New Zealand's national centre for hearing and balance research). In partnership with Waipapa Taumata Rau / The University of Auckland, and Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga, the symposium provides the opportunity to bring together communities and professionals interested in providing equitable ear and hearing health outcomes that are by, for, and with Indigenous peoples. Join us for online keynote presentations, discussion forums and panel talks that will share Indigenous peoples lived experiences, realities and research on Indigenous ear and hearing health.

The symposium is a free event and is open to everyone interested in the provision of equitable ear and hearing healthcare. Registration is however needed to join the virtual platform.

Pre-recorded videos: Symposium speakers in will be providing pre-recorded videos, these will be made available for symposium registrants/participants to watch on the symposium website prior to the symposium. Videos and details to access the videos will be provided from 30th June 2022.

Discussion Forums: Discussion forums will include a platform for symposium registrants/participants to provide comments and ask questions to speakers.
